May.29.15. Interview with Professor Moehring
I made my way to the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus today professor, historian and author Eugene Moehring for an interview to be featured in our documentary. Immediately, I was struck by his rapid-fire speech as he cited names, dates and events one after another in an effortless display of his fluency with Nevada history. He spoke so eloquently that we were able to cover so much ground in less than an hour. Professor Moehring made the interview even better by having a welcoming and lighthearted spirit about him throughout the interview and in between takes.
All in all, his insights on the social and economic forces which shaped the growth of Las Vegas, professional sports and gambling add depth and substance to our documentary’s main storyline.
