Feb.10.16. Super Bowl 50 with Daniel Shaver & April Renee
For Super Bowl 50, we were fortunate to spend two days with a lovely couple from Kansas City, Daniel Shaver and April Renee, who came to Las Vegas to wager on the big game and bask in all the excitement. Vibrant and energetic, Daniel and April are a striking example of today’s young sports gamblers with their adventurous spirit, appetite for risk and optimistic approach to life.
We joined them as they placed their wagers at a local sports book. We saw and captured key moments of their emotional rollercoaster while watching the game. We cheered with them as they celebrated their winnings at a local hot spot. Altogether, our time with them offered us a clear view of how sports gambling has become integrated into young people’s lives. And it adds a significant new feature to our documentary.
We’re truly grateful to Daniel and April for being gracious with their time and allowing us to share in their Super Bowl experience!
