Ed Kokosky is a game and software developer, telecom engineer and entrepreneur with a 40-year track record in the industry. Yesterday, we asked him about the role that different technologies played in the growth and development of the sports betting industry in the US and abroad.

Ed outlined the different technologies involved in this evolution, from regular telephones to the fax machine to pagers, followed by computer networks and the internet, all the way to today’s smartphones and mobile apps platform. He discussed in layman’s terms how each technological change expanded the sports betting market and its popularity.

It was a fascinating interview and an eye-opener to say the least.
